Floating Production Units
The environment in which a floating production system is utilized plays an important part in the selection of the type of system to be utilized. In addition, there are considerations such as weather forecasting and monitoring and economics that also must be considered. This session discusses design techniques for meeting these requirements and includes methods of mooring design, model testing and evacuation procedures.
